Doing Good For The Government?
If Australians are famous for one thing, it’s loving our government. Maybe not! But how should Christians think about the government? What should our posture be towards them? 1 Timothy 2:1-7 makes this question a priority for us, whatever we might think. We’ll see that Christians must do good for the government, especially by praying for them. And yet this is about more than just upholding those in charge. Why should we pray for the government? That’s what we’ll find out this week in God’s word.
