Matthew 27:1-26 Close But Not Close Enough

Easter is just two weeks away, and before we reach the moment of Jesus’ death, we see two people in the middle of the stage: Judas and Pilate. Both of them have some level of regret over sin or concern for Jesus, but they don’t manage to respond rightly to him. How can we avoid the errors they make?
